From 8 to 10 October 2019, sampling of beers from the Brno Pegas and Hauskrecht breweries will be organized for the trade fair in the former 10-Z air raid shelter (entrance opposite Husova 12, Brno). The tasting for these Brno breweries takes place at 18:00–22:00. The ticket for the tasting session is also valid for entry to the whole bunker, where you have the exclusive opportunity to enjoy the exhibition with beer in hand.

10-Z is the code name of what was the most secret of Brno’s bunkers from the communist period for the city and region’s representatives. It began under the Nazis as a shelter for the Luftschutz (air raid wardens) from the American and Soviet bombardment of Brno. It was converted into a nuclear shelter, protecting from weapons of mass destruction, in 1959. It could shelter up to 500 people considered important for the administration of the city and region for up to 3 days, at a time when no attack with atomic weapons was threatened and while the communist regime brutally repressed any expression of freedom on the part of its people.
This Brno-based microbrewery proudly bears the name of its founder – the brewmaster Petr Hauskrecht; it brews original unpasteurized and unfiltered beers according to Petr's original recipes. One of the freshest beers in Brno is sold right on the premises of a historical brewery building inside a former slaughterhouse on Porážka Street. It offers beers in a glass and PET bottles, as well as gift packs of the Brněnská 11, Brněnská 12, PH 13 Black Flek brands, a limited edition of Brněnská 12 – hopped with fresh hops from this year's harvest, or Moravian IPA. This merchandise is suitable as an authentic gift from Brno.
Pegas microbrewery is located in the very centre of Brno. It was built as one of the first microbreweries in the Czech Republic after 1989, and the very first in Moravia. It is set in a building that dates back to the 14th century, which provides a background not only for the microbrewery, but also for the brewery restaurant and hotel. You can choose from the menu of Moravian and Czech cuisine, specials of the house and traditional dishes complemented by four home brews: Pale Lager, Oatmeal Stout, top-fermented Wheat Beer and special semi-dark Gold Beer.
Kart Arena Brno is the largest indoor gokart track in Moravia, offering entertainment for all age categories. Come in to have a go-kart ride, test drifting tracks, and try a professional racing simulator. You can also visit the KART CLUB Restaurant, where you can choose from a daily menu as well as an extensive food and drinks á la carte menu. Take the opportunity to visit a historic wine cellar dating back to the middle of the 18th century in the cellar street of Hlinky in Brno, near the Brno Exhibition Centre. The cellar has been newly refurbished and equipped – it is suitable even for demanding guests. Here you can organise samplings of Moravian and Austrian wines, order a five-course theme menu or a buff et. The cellar has a capacity of 40 to 70 seats. The minimum number is 20 participants.
Visit Slavkov Chateau, take a look around the Napoleonic exhibition and in the chateau courtyard enjoy an evening prepared for you with dinner, Moravian wine and Baroque music. The evening programme can be preceded by a visit to the golf club.
